At Coppice Primary Partnership, we have an amazing central team who support all of our schools in areas of education, finance, HR, estates and governance.
Our central team see their role as reducing the burden on schools to free them up to focus on what they do best - educating the children!
Annamaria Potgieter
Chief Financial Officer
Annamaria joined Coppice Primary Partnership in April 2020 as the Trust Finance Manager and in 2023, stepped up to the CFO role.
Before starting my journey with Coppice Primary Partnership, I had worked in the hotel industry in different countries, managing luxury hotels’ finances. Moving between industries has opened up a whole new world for me. I have found it refreshing to explore the education system of the UK.
Whilst continuing to pursue my finance career, managing schools’ budgets to deliver the best education possible for the pupils, gave me a much more meaningful purpose in my role. I absolutely love working with schools. There is something very special about being part of a team, in which everybody is thriving to ensure that the future generation is nurtured and educated to the highest level of standards.
In my spare time, I have mastered my baking skills, to my husband and son’s delight. After a few years of trial and error, now macarons are just one of the regular treats in our house.
